Foreign-born athletes Commenting

Ok, so Mark Richmond had to touch on the topic of the nationality of the table tennis team. And he pointed out that many other countries, including France, Croatia and Portugal also have foreign-born athletes.

Of course, he had to be pc. If it were me, i would just point out that USA and the Netherlands also have Chinese (ex)nationals in their team. If anything, we should congratulate ourselves on picking the right ones among those available and for grooming them to get into the finals :)

That aside, much as i have no interest in table tennis and am hardly patriotic, was caught in the moment on Friday and joined my colleagues in cheering on the table tennis team. Blame it on the adrenaline rush. Anyway, think Feng Tianwei deserves a National Day award for this :)

And Usain Bolt broke the 100 m world record in total style. Just irritated that he decided to slow down at the last 20 m on purpose. And Michael Phelps has written Olympic history for years, nay, decades to come.
